Day begins with a beautiful drive to Takdah, an old British cantonment. On reaching you'll be greeted by your friendly homestay family and welcomed into the homestay, which itself could be an old colonial-era bungalow restored to its former glory.

Afternoon Lunch

In the afternoon, you'll explore the beautiful attractions of Takdah. The Takdah Orchid Center has a unique collection of rare Himalayan orchids. You will walk among the lush greenery of the Rungli Rungliot Tea Garden before finally visiting a British-era heritage bungalow and admire the beauty of the place.

Relax in the evening with homestay hospitality and a warm dinner.

Breakfast

After breakfast, drive to Lingding Khasmahal (a short scenic drive) for a mix of village life and culture. As you walk through the village, you will have an opportunity to interact with the Lepcha, Bhutia, and Nepali communities, learning their folkways and traditions.

Later, visit a natural site near the village—a waterfall or viewpoint—reachable after a short trek through lush wilderness. Spend some quiet moments amidst nature.

Dinner

Return to your homestay, relax in the evening, followed by dinner.
